Hello, my name is Roy Bocanegra and I was born in Austin, Texas in 1962. My Father passed away when I was very young leaving my young Mother to raise five children. At the age of seven I was told I was now the man of the house and needed to help take care of the family. My first job was at the local barber shop on South Congress Avenue where I shined shoes for $1 per pair. From that day forward, I learned the value of hard work and providing quality service to my customers. Over the years I expanded my work at a host of local businesses and focused some of my attention on business management at Austin Community College where I earned my college degree. My enjoyment and desire to provide quality service directly to my customers is reflected in my construction company, Best Lil Fence in Texas, specializing in fencing, decking and remodeling. I have many repeat customers in Central Texas. They refer family and friends because I am trustworthy and they are satisfied with the high workmanship and quality service I provide along with fair pricing. I believe in giving my best to all of my projects and taking pride in what I do each and every day.
Aside from this business, I also officiate at sporting events in Central Texas area school districts at middle and high school levels as well as collegiate women's volleyball. I am a volunteer officiate for the Special Olympics and officiate at local recreation center youth sports camps.
Being accountable whether it is on the basketball/volleyball court, the softball field, or on your property is important to me. I have a keen awareness of the job that needs to be done the right way the first time with high integrity, excellent communication and a joyful spirit. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
